Title
An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the land use zoning classification from R-1A to R-1AM at Part of Farm Lots 34 & 35, Ellington Plantation) at 138 Schmill Street, Boutte as requested by Linda & Curtis Dufrene.
Body
WHEREAS, Lot located at 138 Schmill Street in Boutte (Part of Farm Lots 34 & 35 Ellington Plantation) is zoned R-1A; and,
WHEREAS, The property owners have requested to rezone from R-1A to R-1AM; and,
WHEREAS, The St. Charles Parish Department of Planning and Zoning recommended approval; and,
WHEREAS, The St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission, at its regular meeting of August 7, 2014, recommended approval.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 81-10-6, to approve the land use zoning classification change from R-1A to R-1AM at 138 Schmill Street Boutte (Part of Farm Lots 34 & 35, Ellington Plantation) as requested by Linda and Curtis Dufrene.
SECTION II. To authorize the Department of Planning & Zoning to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Map to reflect said change from R-1A to R-1AM at 138 Schmill Street (Part of Farm Lots 34 & 35, Ellington Plantation).
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ______________, 2014 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
