Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc., to perform engineering services for Asphalt Maintenance 2027 (Project No. P260804), in the not to exceed amount of $212,080.50.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance 25-9-6 adopted on September 22, 2025, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc., to perform engineering services for Road Maintenance Manuals 2026 (Project No. P250703), in the not to exceed amount of $124,104.24; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish maintains a list of streets that require maintenance throughout the Parish that are repaired under the Road Maintenance Program; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish and Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc. have mutually agreed to select, design, bid, and construct streets for Asphalt Maintenance 2027 (Project No. P260804), in the not to exceed amount of $212,080.50; and,
WHEREAS, the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc. describes the details of the proposed services and compensation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc., to perform engineering services as required by the Department of Public Works, for Asphalt Maintenance 2027 (Project No. P260804), in the not to exceed amount $212,080.50 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
