Title

A resolution appointing Government Consultants of Louisiana, Inc. as Financial Advisor to St. Charles Parish.

Body

WHEREAS,      the Parish of St. Charles desires to appoint Government Consultants of Louisiana, Inc., as Financial Advisor to the Parish of St. Charles and any agency of the Parish of St. Charles and any entity created by the Parish of St. Charles and any entity that requires approval of the St. Charles Parish Council to incur indebtedness.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, appoint Government Consultants of Louisiana, Inc., as Financial Advisor to the Parish of St. Charles and any entity created by the Parish of St. Charles, and any entity that requires approval of the St. Charles to incur indebtedness.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that before any of the aforementioned entities incurs indebtedness, Government Consultants of Louisiana, Inc. as Financial advisor, shall advise the Parish and/or such other entities on matters pertinent to issues of municipal securities, whether a new money issue or a refunding issue, therewith, the Financial Advisor will be paid a fee to be determined at the time of first approval of such indebtedness, which fee shall be payable solely out of bond proceeds and which fee must be approved by the Louisiana State Bond Commission before payment.
