Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1(Final) for Parish Project No. P070107 Paradis Pump Station Bar Screen Cleaner and Deck to decrease the contract amount by $67,260.00 and add nine (9) days to the contract time.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 09-10-8, adopted October 19, 2009, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Sealevel Construction, Inc. for Parish Project No. P070107 Paradis Pump Station Bar Screen Cleaner and Deck in the amount of $910,513.00; and,
WHEREAS, the decrease in contract amount resulted from the deletion of two line items in the amount of $68,000, adding one line item in the amount of $700, and increasing one line item in the amount of $40; and,
WHEREAS, the increase in contract time was needed to account for the longer than anticipated lead time of the concrete deck pilings.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. To approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1(Final) for Parish Project No. P070107 Paradis Pump Station Bar Screen Cleaner and Deck to decrease the contract amount by $67,260.00 and increase the contract time by nine (9) days.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2010, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
