An ordinance of the Parish of St. Charles providing that the Code of Ordinances, Parish of St. Charles, be amended by revising Appendix A., the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Section VIII. Site Design Requirements, D. Landscaping Requirements, 2. General Requirements, a.

WHEREAS, The Zoning Ordinance was recently amended as part of a comprehensive update; and,
WHEREAS, the intent of the Parish Council was to remove the requirement for a Louisiana licensed landscape architect as a requirement for site plans; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed change was noted in File No. 2015-0191 Revision Report but was left out of the revised version due to an oversight; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to amend the code as noted below.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Code of Ordinances, Appendix A., the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Section VIII. Site Design Requirements, D. Landscaping Requirements, 2. General Requirements, a. is hereby amended as follows:

a. A landscape plan prepared by a Louisiana licensed landscape architect, as part of the required site plan, shall be submitted to the Department of Planning and Zoning for review and approval.

SECTION II. That the foregoing provisions of this ordinance shall be included and incorporated in the Code of Ordinances of the Parish of St. Charles as an addition or amendment thereto.
