Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with All South Consulting Engineers, LLC, for continued engineering services for the Willowdale Pump Station Sump Improvements (Project No. P241102), in the amount not to exceed $315,610.00, increasing the overall contract value to $351,560.00.
Body
WHEREAS, on May 5, 2025, St. Charles Parish entered into a Professional Services Agreement with All South Consulting Engineers, LLC, to complete Site Analysis and Conceptual Planning for Willowdale Pump Station Sump Improvements (Project No. P241102), in the lump sum amount of $30,950.00; and,
WHEREAS, on March 27, 2026, St. Charles Parish executed Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with All South Consulting Engineers, LLC, to complete boundary survey work for Willowdale Pump Station Sump Improvements (Project No. P241102), adding $5,000.00 and increasing the overall contract value to $35,950.00; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish desires to amend the contract to proceed with full design of increasing the sump capacity by installing sheet piles and an additional box culvert within Willowdale Canal, and all associated work; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish and All South Consulting Engineers, LLC, have mutually agreed to a not to exceed price of $315,610.00 for full design, geotechnical, and resident inspection, increasing the overall contract value to $351,560.00; and,
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 2 between St. Charles Parish and All South Consulting Engineers, LLC, describes the details of scope, schedule and compensation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and All South Consulting Engineers, LLC, to continue engineering services for the Willowdale Pump Station Sump Improvements (Project No. P241102), in the amount not to exceed $315,610.00, increasing the overall contract value to $351,560.00 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
