Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981 to change the land use zoning classification from R-1A to C-2 at Lots 1B-1 and 1B-2, Block J of Ellington Gardens (207 Angus Drive, Luling), as requested by Ellington Swim Club, Inc. and Whitney Properties VII, LLC.

WHEREAS, Ellington Swim Club and Whitney Properties VII, LLC request a change of zoning classification from R-1A to C-2 at Lots 1B-1 and 1B-2, Block J of Ellington Gardens; and,
WHEREAS, the request does not conflict with the Mixed Use Corridor designation the Future Land Use Map recommends for the property; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission recommended _____________ of the request at a public hearing on April 7, 2016.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981 (Ordinance No. 81-10-6) to change the land use zoning from R-1A to C-2 at Lots 1B-1 and 1B-2, Block J of Ellington Gardens as shown on a survey by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated December 18, 2015, and requested by Ellington Swim Club and Whitney Properties VII, LLC.
SECTION II. That the Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Map to reflect the reclassification from R-1A to C-2 on the properties.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of __ 2016, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
