Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 - Final for Barton Avenue and Rex Street Jack & Bore, Parish Project No. P010101, to increase the contract time by 32 days.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. Ordinance No. 01-3-5 adopted March 19, 2001 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with D&O Contractors, Inc. for the construction of Barton Avenue and Rex Street Jack & Bore in the amount of $82,000.00
SECTION II. That it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract to increase the contract time by 32 calendar days to account for delays associated with project review and recommendations by LA Department of Transportation and Development for repair of the Barton Avenue.
SECTION III. That it is necessary to increase the contract time by 32 calendar days.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1 - Final to the contract for the Barton Avenue and Rex Street Jack & Bore to increase the contract time by 32 calendar days.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
