Title
A resolution in support of Councilwoman Julia Fisher-Perrier for At Large Member on the Executive Board of the Police Jury Association of Louisiana.
Body
WHEREAS, Julia Fisher-Perrier is currently Councilwoman for District VII in St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, Julia Fisher-Perrier is currently the Vice Chairman of the St. Charles Parish Council; and,
WHEREAS, Julia Fisher-Perrier served as Council Chairman of the St. Charles Parish Council in 2014; and,
WHEREAS, Julia Fisher-Perrier is currently the Chairman of the Hurricane Protection Projects Committee in St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, Julia Fisher-Perrier is an active member of the Police Jury Association of Louisiana and also serves as the Chairman of the Wildlife and Fisheries Committee; and,
WHEREAS, Julia Fisher-Perrier is an active member of the National Association of County Officials where she is a member of the Environment, Energy & Land Use Committee; and,
WHEREAS Julia Fisher-Perrier is a member of NACo’s NextGen Committee; and,
WHEREAS, Julia Fisher-Perrier is the Ex-Officio of the St. Charles Housing Authority; and,
WHEREAS, Julia Fisher-Perrier is a board member on the South Central Planning & Development Commission; and,
WHEREAS, Julia Fisher-Perrier is active in civic, community, and non-profit programs in St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, Julia Fisher-Perrier has garnered the support of the St. Charles Parish Council, by resolution, for the seat of At Large Member on the Executive Board of the Police Jury Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL do hereby support Councilwoman Julia Fisher-Perrier in her effort to win the seat for At Large Member on the Executive Board of the Police Jury Association of Louisiana.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Police Jury Association of Louisiana.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution also be forwarded to all Louisiana Parishes.
The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
