ORDINANCE NO.     00-7-1        

Title

An ordinance of the Parish of St. Charles providing that the code of Ordinances, Parish of St. Charles, be amended by revising Section 2-12 I. (b), providing that the Public Notice for the Qualification Based Selection "Request for Qualification Statements" (RFQ) shall be published in the Official Journal of the Parish and on the Parish's Official Web Page to be maintained by the Public Works/Wastewater Department.

Body

WHEREAS,      Section 2-12 of the Parish Code establishes procedures for the Qualification Based Selection process presently requires Public Notices for RFQ's shall be published in the Official Journal of the Parish; and,

WHEREAS,      the Parish Council would like for the Public Notices to also be published at the Parish's Official web site; and,

WHEREAS,      interested firms could visit the web site for information regarding Parish projects.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.      That the St. Charles Parish Code, Chapter 2, Article I, Section 2-12, I. (b) is hereby amended to read as follows:

(b)      A public notice (see exhibit "A") entitled "Request for Qualification Statements" (RFQ) substantially in accordance with the form attached hereto shall be published in the Official Journal of the Parish and on the Parish's Official Web Page to be maintained by the Public Works/Wastewater Department and shall contain the following information:
