An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 95-12-8 to amend the Lease with the Des Allemands Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. to include the property and improvements located at 16970 U.S. Highway 90 in Des Allemands.
Body
WHEREAS,      the Des Allemands Volunteer Fire Department acquired a certain parcel of property by a Donation and Acceptance from Texaco Exploration and Production, Inc. filed as Entry No. 248113, Conveyance Book 516, Folio 542 on October 20, 2000, in the St. Charles Parish Clerk of Court's Office; and,
WHEREAS,      said property was donated to the Parish of St. Charles and accepted by Ordinance No. _________ adopted on October 1, 2007; and,
WHEREAS,      the Des Allemands Volunteer Fire Department has constructed a facility on said property known as Additions to Fire Station No. 72; and,
WHEREAS,      it is the desire of the Parish to amend its current Lease with the Des Allemands Volunteer Fire Department to include said property and improvements.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.      That Ordinance No. 95-12-8 adopted December 18, 1995 is hereby amended by Amendment No. 1 to the Lease with the Des Allemands Volunteer Fire Department to include the property and improvements located at 16970 U.S. Highway 90 in Des Allemands.
SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment No. 1 on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
