Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Engineering Services Contract with Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P011004, Hahn Street Subsurface Drainage.
Body
WHEREAS, subsurface drainage already exists on the west side of Hahn Street and subsurface drainage is necessary on the east side of Hahn Street to complete the subsurface drainage system; and,
WHEREAS, the QBS Selection Board met on February 25, 2002, and recommended award of Parish Project No. P011004, Hahn Street Subsurface Drainage to Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc. (See Attachment A); and,
WHEREAS, the Project Budget for this contract is as follows:
Construction $ 265,800
Basic Engineering 21,000
Survey 8,490
Resident Inspection 36,400
Abstract (Title Research) 1,200
Geotechnical 5,320
Total Project Budget $ 338,210
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Engineering Services Contract with Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P011004, Hahn Street Subsurface Drainage be hereby accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached Engineering Services Contract.
