Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a professional service multi-phase project agreement with Kyle Associates, LLC. for providing all necessary professional engineering services for the 2020 East Bank Sewer Master Plan, Project No. S200601.
Body
WHEREAS, the landscape and development of the East Bank has changed considerable, and a current functioning model is critical in managing impacts on Parish infrastructure; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council desires to perform a Sewer Master Plan for the area serviced by the East Bank Sewer Treatment Plant in Destrehan that will improve the services for the entire east bank of the Parish; and,
WHEREAS, the attached agreement between the St. Charles Parish and Kyle Associates, LLC., describes the details of the proposed services and compensation; and,
WHEREAS, because of the complexity of the project, the task(s) will be implemented as follows:
Phase 1: Planning / Data Gathering / and Preliminary Evaluation

- Existing System Conditions
- System Lift Station Assessment
- Deliverable
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Kyle Associates, LLC for services as required by the Department of Public Works/Wastewater is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Professional Services Agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2020, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
