Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the zoning classification from C-3 to M-1 on an 81,016 square foot property designated as Lot B, Plot 43, Almedia Plantation, 150 Almedia Plantation Drive, St. Rose, as requested by Double R & J Trucking Service, Inc.

WHEREAS, the property owner requests rezoning from C-3 to M-1 on an 81,016 square foot property designated as Lot B, Plot 43, Almedia Plantation, 150 Almedia Plantation Drive, St. Rose, as requested by Double R & J Trucking Service, Inc; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department recommended denial of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended denial of the request at its regular meeting of January 14, 2021.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of 1981 is amended to change the zoning classification from C-3 to M-1 on an 81,016 square foot property designated as Lot B, Plot 43, Almedia Plantation, 150 Almedia Plantation Drive, St. Rose, as requested by Double R & J Trucking Service, Inc.
SECTION II. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from C-3 to M-1 on an 81,016 square foot property designated as Lot B, Plot 43, Almedia Plantation, 150 Almedia Plantation Drive, St. Rose, as requested by Double R & J Trucking Service, Inc.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this _____ day of ____________, 2021 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
