Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 2 for Parish Project No P090103-4, Road Maintenance 2010, to balance the contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $119,646.73 and increase in 8 calendar days.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10-9-12 adopted September 20, 2010 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No P090103-4, Road Maintenance 2010, to Barriere Construction Co, LLC; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10-12-5, adopted December 6, 2010 for Change Order 1 to increase the contract amount by $211.617.35 to add additional work due to the construction bid coming in lower than estimated; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease to the contract amount by $119,646.73 and in increase of 8 days.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. To approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 2 for Parish Project No. P090103-4, Road Maintenance 2010, to decrease the contract amount by $119,646.73 and in increase of 8 days.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
