Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Contract with Frickey Brothers Construction of Paradis, LA, for the St. Charles Parish Addition and Renovations to the Planning and Zoning Building Project # CD 2512, in the amount of $507,000.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on April 25, 2018, for the St. Charles Parish Addition and Renovations to the Planning and Zoning Building at 15045 River Road in Hahnville; and,
WHEREAS, Campo Designs Architects, the Architect for the project, has reviewed the bids and recommended that the project be awarded to the low bidder, Frickey Brothers Construction of Paradis, LA, in the amount of $507,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Addition and Renovations to the Planning and Zoning Building will allow for the security and modernization of this essential function of Parish Government and provide necessary space for the employee’s offices and future accommodations.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Frickey Brothers Construction of Paradis, LA, for the St. Charles Parish Addition and Renovations to the Planning and Zoning Building Project # CD 2512, is hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $507,000.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2018, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
