Title
An ordinance of the Parish of St. Charles providing that the Code of Ordinances, be amended by revising Section 17-19 Special Provisions, to revise Hours of Operation to provide that the River Parishes Fall Festival held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church shall not extend past 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night.

WHEREAS, on May 1, 1989 the Parish Council enacted Ordinance No. 89-5-1 providing regulations for all special events; and,
WHEREAS, the River Parishes Fall Festival has requested that they be allowed to operate past the 10:00 p.m. closing time on Friday and Saturday; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said request.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Paragraph (a) of Section 17-19, Special Provisions, of the Code of Ordinances of St. Charles Parish, be amended as follows:
(a) Hours of operation for all events shall be 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, excluding functions held within a permanent structure. Exception: Hours of Operation for all events held at the West Bank and East Bank Bridge Parks shall be 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, excluding functions held within a permanent structure. Hours of Operation for the Catfish Festival held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church and the River Parishes Fall Festival held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, shall not extend past 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night.
