Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1(Final) for Parish Project No. P081102-2 Dunleith Canal Stabilization - Phase I to decrease the contract amount by $19,491.01 and decrease the contract time by five (5) days.
Body
WHEREAS,      Ordinance No. 10-8-13, adopted August 23, 2010, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Advance Quality Construction, Inc. for Parish Project No. P081102-2 Dunleith Canal Stabilization - Phase I in the amount of $614,282.00; and,
WHEREAS,      the decrease in contract amount resulted from the deletion of two line items in the amount of $40,290.00, decreasing two lines item in the amount of $3,943.01, and increasing two line items in the amount of $24,742.00; and,
WHEREAS,      the decrease in contract time was a result of excellent weather and contractor management of their schedule.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.      That Change Order No. 1(Final) for Parish Project No. P081102-2 Dunleith Canal Stabilization - Phase I to decrease the contract amount by $19,491.01 and decrease the contract time by five (5) days is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
