Title
A resolution providing mandatory supporting authorization to the developer, Metro Investments, LLC, of LaPlace, LA to endorse the positive Planning & Zoning Commission decision regarding Special Permit Use application PZSPU-2000-02, which would allow the development of a truck stop with a video poker parlor in a specific light manufacturing and industry district in St. Rose, La. The developer is hereby authorized to construct a truck stop with video poker parlor as specified in the named case file at 10405 Airline Hwy, St. Rose.

WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981 (as amended) requires both Planning & Zoning Commission approval and a supporting resolution of the Parish Council for a truck stop with a video poker parlor in a light manufacturing and industry district; and,
WHEREAS, the developer, Metro Investments (LaPlace, La.) wishes to construct a truck stop with a video poker parlor the light manufacturing and industry district at 10405 Airline Hwy., St. Rose, La.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, does hereby provide this supporting resolution for the truck stop development outlined in Special Permit Use application contained in Planning & Zoning Commission Case PZSPU-2000-02.
