Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1(Final) for Parish Project No. P090203 Upgrade The Boutte Pump Station to decrease the contract amount by $51,650.00 and add seven (7) days to the contract time.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10-9-13, adopted September 20, 2010, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with BLD Services, LLC for Parish Project No. P090203 Upgrade The Boutte Pump Station in the amount of $862,103.00; and,
WHEREAS, the decrease in contract amount resulted from the deletion of two line items in the amount of $75,300.00 offsetting the addition of nine line items in the amount of $23,650.00; and,
WHEREAS, the increase in contract time was needed to identify and remove unforeseen obstructions hindering pile driving operations.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS,
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1(Final) for Parish Project No. P090203 Upgrade The Boutte Pump Station to decrease the contract amount by $51,650.00 and increase the contract time by seven (7) days is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
