Title

An ordinance to amend the Code of Ordinances for the Parish of St. Charles, Appendix A, Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Section III. Definitions by adding Lawn Care Service, and amending Section VI. Zoning district criteria and regulations, A. Open Land District, [I.] O-L. Open Land District, 1. Use Regulations, a., by adding (13) Lawn Care Service, and amending Section VII. Supplemental use and performance regulations, 1. by adding Lawn Care Service.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

                     SECTION I.                     That the Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Section III. Definitions be hereby amended with new text underlined and deleted text in strikethrough:

Lawn Care Service: A business offering gardening and lawn maintenance activities, such as mowing lawn and overgrowth, edging, weeding, or trimming of hedges and shrubbery.

SECTION II.                     That the Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Section VI. Zoning district criteria and regulations A., [I.], 1. a. is hereby amended with new text underlined and deleted text in strikethrough:

(13)                     Lawn Care Service subject to the requirements of Section VII.

SECTION III.                     That the Code of Ordinances, Appendix A, Section VII. Supplemental use and performance regulations, 1. is hereby amended with new text underlined and deleted text in strikethrough to be added after Junkyards:

Lawn Care Service.

a.                     No onsite signage allowed other than signage on vehicles and equipment when operating in the O-L zoning district.

                     The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

NAYS:                     WOODRUFF, BELLOCK, FLETCHER

ABSENT:                     NONE

                     And the ordinance was declared adopted this   18th   day of      February   , 2019, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
