An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the land use zoning classification from R-1A(M) and C-2 to C-3 on various lots comprising approximately four (4) acres on or near Paul Maillard Road between River Road and Luling Avenue as requested by Joey Bosco, Gregory Mollere, Robert Monti, and Paul Muller.

WHEREAS, Joey Bosco, Gregory Mollere, Robert Monti, and Paul Muller own various lots totaling approximately four (4) acres fronting Paul Maillard Road and Luling Avenue between River Road and Luling Avenue; and,
WHEREAS, the addresses of the lots are 200, 202, 204, 208, 220 , 300, 301, 302, 304, and 310 Paul Maillard Road, and 13513 and 13505 River Road and 105 Luling Avenue; and,
WHEREAS, the lots are in land use zone C-2 with some portions in zone R-1A(M); and
WHEREAS, the owners request rezoning of all the lots to C-3; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Department recommend denial of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request at its regular meeting of November 6, 2014.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Ordinance No. 81-10-6, to approve the change in land use zoning classifications from C-2 and R-1A(M) to C-3 consistent with the areas outlined on the attached aerial photograph titled: PZR 2014-17 Exhibit 1 as requested by Joey Bosco, Gregory Mollere, Robert Monti, and Paul Muller.
SECTION II. To authorize the Department of Planning & Zoning to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Map to reflect these reclassifications from C-2 and R-1A(M) as shown on the attached aerial photograph titled: PZR 2014-17 Exhibit 1 as requested by Joey Bosco, Gregory Mollere, Robert Monti, and Paul Muller.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2014 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
