TRIBUTE
Division B, Councilman-At-Large Clayton Faucheux, Jr., is a lifelong resident of Luling, Louisiana. He is the proud parent of two sons, Clayton, III and Cory and two grandchildren, Cole and Cailah.
Councilman Faucheux has an extensive record as an Elected Official representing St. Charles Parish. He was first elected to the St. Charles Parish Council as the Division B, Councilman-At-Large on November 20, 1999, was re-elected to a second term on October 4, 2003, and on October 22, 2011, was elected for his third term as the Division B, Councilman-At-Large.
Councilman Faucheux is a 1977 graduate of Hahnville High School and attended Louisiana State University and the University of Southwestern majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Economics. He attended the Texas A & M Total Quality Management Program, receiving a CSSM as certified by the American Society of Quality Controls as a business systems consultant.
Councilman Faucheux is an 18 year veteran of Shell employed with Shell Exploration and Production Company as the environmental field technician for Magnolia Production Basin in North Louisiana and Arrowhead Basin in Kansas. He he recently accepted a promotion to become the environmental field representative for onshore drilling for Shell which necessitates his transfer to Mansfield, Louisiana near Shreveport.
Councilman Faucheux served as Chairman of the Operations, Maintenance, and Construction Management Committee from January 2012-December 2012 and Chairman of the Hurricane Protection Projects Committee from January 2013-November 2013. He served as a member of the Operations, Maintenance, and Construction Management Committee, Legislative Committee, Contract/Finance and Administrative Committee, Special Projects/Public Safety, Health, and Environmental Committee, Hurricane Protection Projects Committee, ex-officio member on the Housing Authority Board, and a member of the Community Action Advisory Board, the Louisiana Police Jury Association, and the National Association of County Officials.
Councilman Faucheux has been involved in the St. Charles Business Association, St. Charles Cattlemen Association, St. Charles Soccer Association, and the St. Charles Farm Bureau Association.
We want to thank Councilman Faucheux for his dedication and service to the citizens of St. Charles Parish and to wish him the best in all of his future endeavors.
