Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, as amended, to change the zoning classification from C-3 to O-L on Lot 89A-2, Coteau de France or Ranson Tract, as shown on a survey titled “Resubdivision of Lot 89A” by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated June 4, 1998, as requested by Stanley and Melinda Hebert.

WHEREAS, Stanley and Melinda Hebert request a rezoning from C-3 to O-L on Lot 89A- 2, Coteau de France or Ranson Tract, as shown on a survey titled “Resubdivision of Lot 89A” by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated June 4, 1998; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department recommended approval of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the request at its regular meeting of December 1, 2022.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of 1981, as amended, is further amended to change the zoning classification from C-3 to O-L on Lot 89A-2, Coteau de France or Ranson Tract, as shown on a survey titled “Resubdivision of Lot 89A” by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated June 4, 1998, as requested by Stanley and Melinda Hebert.
SECTION II. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from C-3 to O-L on Lot 89A-2, Coteau de France or Ranson Tract, as shown on a survey titled “Resubdivision of Lot 89A” by Lucien C. Gassen, PLS dated June 4, 1998, as requested by Stanley and Melinda Hebert.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this _____ day of ____________, 2023, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
