IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Dominique Charles "Chuck" Lousteau, II is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Destrehan, Louisiana with his wife Mickele Elizabeth Sill Lousteau and their son Dominique Charles Lousteau III; and,
WHEREAS, Dominique Lousteau envisioned a plan to honor the fallen victims of the tragedy of the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001 with a Community Unity Day Rally held at the West Bridge Park on September 16, 2001; and,
WHEREAS, Dominique Lousteau engaged his employer, AVW Audio Visual in New Orleans, who supplied all the Audio gear and labor; Express Productions who provided and set up the stage; Mr. Paul Guidry who found two great bands "The Distractions" and "Summer Breeze" for entertainment; and St. Charles Parish President Albert D. Laque and The Parish Council who helped in numerous ways; and,
WHEREAS, Dominique Lousteau with his family, friends, employees of St. Charles Parish and in his words the GREATEST AV show crew in the world: Derreck Alexander, Norman Anderson, Rob Anderson, Steve Brouwer, his girlfriend and her daughter, Jolanda Davies, Ron Dufour and his daughter, Jakub Karas, Kenneth Lovetro, Thaddius Hill, Dale Hoke and Andrea Peppo put on a great production for the Unity Day Rally; and,
WHEREAS, Dominique Lousteau, along with St. Charles Parish and the St. Charles Rotary raised over $40,000.00 for the victims of the September 11th tragedy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
DOMINIQUE CHARLES "CHUCK" LOUSTEAU, II
&
"THE UNITY DAY RALLY CREW"
"PARISH OF PLENTY"
