Title
A resolution in support of Councilman Timmy Roussel for 3rd Vice-President on the Executive Board of the Police Jury Association of Louisiana at the upcoming convention in February 2001.
Body
WHEREAS, Timmy Roussel has been an Elected Official for 13 years, with 5 years served as an Alderman for the Town of Lutcher and the latter 8 years serving as Councilman for the St. James Parish Council; and,
WHEREAS, Timmy Roussel has been elected for another term on the St. James Parish Council; and,
WHEREAS, Timmy Roussel is an active member of the Police Jury Association and the Executive Board; and,
WHEREAS, Timmy Roussel has been duly elected as a Region 2 Executive Board Member and followed by being elected as an At-Large Member for the past 5 years; and,
WHEREAS, Timmy Roussel actively participated in bringing about workshops surrounding the annual state conventions; and,
WHEREAS, Timmy Roussel has garnered the support of the St. James Parish Council, by resolution, for the seat of 3rd Vice-President on the Executive Board of the Police Jury Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL do hereby support Councilman Timmy Roussel in his effort to win the seat for 3rd Vice-President on the Executive Board of the Police Jury Association of Louisiana.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Police Jury Association of Louisiana for presentation at its annual convention in February 2001.
