Title

A resolution providing supporting authorization to endorse the Preliminary Plat approval for Esperanza Business Park Phase II with waiver from the requirement for sub-surface drainage as well as from the geometric standards regarding street names, block length, and lot orientation and width.

Body

WHEREAS,                     the St. Charles Parish Subdivision Ordinance of 1981 requires that the St. Charles Parish Council endorse waivers from subdivision regulations for a Preliminary Plat; and,

WHEREAS,                     the subdivider has requested a waiver from the requirement for sub-surface drainage and also from several geometric standards; and,

WHEREAS,                     the Department of Public Works and Wastewater offered no objection to the waiver from sub-surface drainage; and,

WHEREAS,                     the Planning and Zoning Commission approved the preliminary plat with the requested waivers at their June 1, 2017 meeting.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, does hereby provide this supporting authorization to endorse the preliminary plat approval of Esperanza Business Park Phase II with a waiver from the required sub-surface drainage, as well as waivers from street name standards, block length, and lot width for Parcel A and B as requested by Esperanza Land, LLC.

                     The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

 

 

 

 

                     And the resolution was declared adopted this              day of                    , 2017, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
