Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize an Agreement between Eustis Engineering, LLC. and St Charles Parish for geotechnical services on the Ormond CN Railway Culverts (Parish Project Number P200801).
Body
WHEREAS, on September 21, 2020 the St. Charles Parish Council approved Ordinance No. 20-9-5; an Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Barowka and Bonura Engineers & Consultants (BBEC), LLC for the design and construction of Parish Project No. P200801, CN Railways Culverts in Ormond; and,
WHEREAS, during the design of the project and coordination with CN Railroad, BBEC determined that Geotechnical Engineering Services are required for the design of the culvert crossings under the CN Railroad; and,
WHEREAS, Eustis Engineering, LLC. was selected to provide the Geotechnical Engineering Services; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish and Eustis Engineering, LLC. have mutually agreed to a not to-exceed fee of $260,950.00 to complete the work.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Engineering Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Eustis Engineering LLC. for services required by the Department of Public Works is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ____________, 2021, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
