Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. Three (3) - Final for Parish Project No. P980703 Destrehan I Pump Station to balance contractual quantities with actual quantities.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 01-11-4 adopted November 5, 2001 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Boh Bros. Construction Company, L.L.C. for the construction of Destrehan I Pump Station Upgrade in the amount of $3,179,684.00; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 02-2-2 adopted February 18, 2002 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of Amendment No. 1 to the Engineering Services Contract with URS Corporation to provide the necessary services in moving all construction outside of railroad right-of-way due to the lack of issuance of a railroad permit; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 02-2-4 adopted February 18, 2002 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of Change Order No. 1 to the contract, which changed various bid form items to lump sum and corrected the contract time to 300 days; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 02-10-1 adopted October 7, 2002 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of Change Order No. 2 to the contract, which moved all construction outside of the railroad right-of-way; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. Three (3) - Final is necessary to close out the contract with Boh Bros. Construction Company, L.L.C. for the construction of Parish Project No. P980703, Destrehan I Pump Station Upgrade.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. Three (3) to the contract for Parish Project No. 980703, Destrehan I Pump Station Upgrade, to reduce contract time by six (6) days and contract amount by four thousand eight hundred ninety-two dollars and 28 cents ($4892.28) is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
