Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the zoning classification of Lot 7, Square 302, Ellington Plantation Subdivision, bearing municipal address 308 Sugarhouse Road, Luling from R-1A to R-2, as requested by Dimitrios Karavangelis.
Body
WHEREAS, the property owner requests rezoning the property from R-1A to R-2; and,
WHEREAS, the St Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Department recommended denial of this request; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning Board of Commissioners recommended approval of the request at its regular meeting on May 5, 2016.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. St Charles Parish does hereby approve an ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the land use zoning classification of Lot 7, Square 302, Ellington Plantation Subdivision, bearing municipal address 302 Sugarhouse Road, Luling from R-1A to R-2, as requested by Dimitrios Karavangelis.
SECTION II. That the St. Charles Parish Department of Planning & Zoning is authorized to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Map to reflect this reclassification of Lot 7, Square 302, Ellington Plantation Subdivision, bearing municipal address 302 Sugarhouse Road, Luling from R-1A to R-2, as requested by Dimitrios Karavangelis.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2016 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
