Title
An ordinance of the Parish of St. Charles providing that the Code of Ordinances, Parish of St. Charles, be amended by revising Section 17-19 Special Provisions, to revise Hours of Operation for all special events held at the West Bank and East Bank Bridge Parks which shall be 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Friday through Saturday.

WHEREAS, on May 1, 1989 the Parish Council enacted Ordinance No. 89-5-1 requiring provisions for all special events; and,
WHEREAS, hours of operation for all special events shall be from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, excluding functions held within a permanent structure; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of certain groups to extend the hours of the West Bank and East Bank Bridge Parks for family enjoyment.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Paragraph (a) of Section 17-19, Special Provisions, of the Code of Ordinances of St. Charles Parish, be amended as follows:
AS WRITTEN:
(a) Hours of operation for all events shall be 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, excluding functions held within a permanent structure.
REVISED:
(a) Hours of operation for all events shall be 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, excluding functions held within a permanent structure. Exception: Hours of Operation for all events held at the West Bank and East Bank Bridge Parks shall be 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, excluding functions held within a permanent structure.
