Title
A resolution asking the Parish Council to support forwarding a letter for an opinion from the Attorney General on the two year exclusion of doing business with St. Charles Parish and its related Public Sectors as it applies to the Appointees of the short term Ad-Hoc Advisory Committee to review the practices of the Qualification Selection Review Panel.
Body
WHEREAS, the Appointees of the short term QBS Ad-Hoc Advisory Committee may be penalized from doing business with St. Charles Parish and its Public Sectors by their volunteerism; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish needs the expertise of the business community of St. Charles Parish and the support from these individuals; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council wishes for an opinion from the Attorney General as not to penalize the dedication of the business community by participating on the short term QBS Ad-Hoc Advisory Committee.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby support forwarding a letter for an opinion from the Attorney General on the two year exclusion of doing business with St. Charles Parish and its related Public Sectors as it applies to the Appointees of the short term Ad-Hoc Advisory Committee to review the practices of the Qualification Selection Review Panel.
