An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) for the Ama Pump Station and Force Main Project to allow the contractor, D & O Contractors, Inc., to directional drill portions of the contract at no additional cost or time to the owner.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 99-9-8 adopted September 7, 1999, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with D & O Contractors, Inc. for the construction of the Ama Pump Station and Force Main Project in the amount of $1,538,117.30; and,
SECTION II. That it is necessary to allow the contractor to directional drill portions of the contract at no additional cost or time to the owner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. One (1) to the contract for the Ama Pump Station and Force Main Project, to allow the contractor to directional drill portions of the contract at no additional cost or time to the owner.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
