Title
A resolution supporting the application to the Louisiana Office of Community Development Local Government Assistance Program for FY 2020-2021 funding in the amount of $58,800 for the St. Charles Parish Public Works Director’s Office Restroom Renovation project, located at 101 River Oaks Drive in Destrehan.
Body
WHEREAS, Louisiana Legislature House Bill 2, Act 2 allocated $58,800 per parish for the Local Government Assistance Program for fiscal year 2020-2021; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Public Works Director’s Office, an essential government building, is in need of restroom renovations to the interior of the building including plumbing and electrical work, which is an activity that is eligible for assistance under the program; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish Council’s support for the application to have said project included in the Louisiana Office of Community Development Local Government Assistance Program is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize this resolution in support of the application for the renovation of the St. Charles Parish Public Works Director’s Office restrooms for the Louisiana Office of Community Development Local Government Assistance Program for FY 2020-2021.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said application and to act on behalf of St. Charles Parish in all matters pertaining to this project and subsequent grant award.
