Title

A resolution endorsing waivers from Appendix C, Subdivision Regulations of 1981, Section III. Geometric Standards, B. Blocks, 1. Length, as requested by Todd Trosclair for 310 Development, LLC.

Body

WHEREAS,                     the St. Charles Parish Subdivision Ordinance of 1981 requires the Parish Council endorse waivers from Subdivision Regulations; and,

WHEREAS,                     the Subdivision Regulations limit block length to a 1,500 foot maximum between street centers; and,

WHEREAS,                     the Subdivision Regulations require a minimum of two ingresses and egresses to a proposed subdivision; and,

WHEREAS,                     the applicant requests waivers from the maximum block length and minimum two points of ingress and egress requirements; and,

WHEREAS,                     granting the waivers will allow W. Alpha Drive to exceed the 1,500 foot maximum and allow the separate sections of the subdivision to have single points of ingress and egress as shown on the Preliminary Plat of PLANTATION BUSINESS CAMPUS SECTION 3, by Stephen P. Flynn, PLS, Riverlands Surveying Company dated July 10, 2023, revised December 21, 2023, and June 25, 2024; and,

WHEREAS,                     the Planning and Zoning Commission approved the Preliminary Plat of PLANTATION BUSINESS CAMPUS SECTION 3 with the waivers at its meeting on July 11, 2024.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, hereby provides this supporting authorization to endorse waivers from the maximum block length and minimum two points of ingress and egress requirements as shown on the Preliminary Plat of PLANTATION BUSINESS CAMPUS SECTION 3, by Stephen P. Flynn, PLS, Riverlands Surveying Company dated July 10, 2023, revised December 21, 2023, and June 25, 2024, as requested by Todd Trosclair for 310 Development, LLC.

The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
