In Memoriam: Adrain Leon Petetant

IN MEMORIAM
WHEREAS, on May 17, 2026, Almighty God, in His Infinite Wisdom, saw fit to call from amongst us one of His most worthy servants, Adrain Leon Petetant; and,
WHEREAS, Adrain was born to the parents of Jimmy and Elizabeth Petetant and was a resident of St. Charles Parish. He lived a devoted life as a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Adrain is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Lakisha Petetant, his children, Joshua Petetant, Bethany Williams, and Adrain Petetant Jr., and his grandchildren; and,
WHEREAS, Adrain was a hardworking and dependable man who dedicated over sixteen years of his life as an employee of St. Charles Parish, taking pride in providing for his family through hard work and perseverance. Adrain began employment with St. Charles Parish as a Laborer and spent seven years as a Grass Cutter Lead before he retired in 2024; and,
WHEREAS, Adrain enjoyed the simple things in life, including fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Because of his own health struggles, he made it a priority to encourage the people he loved and cared for to take their health seriously and receive regular checkups. He will be remembered for his warm spirit, strong work ethic, and the joy and laughter he brought to those around him; and,
WHEREAS, on behalf of all citizens of St. Charles Parish, the Parish Council, and the Parish President we proudly posthumously honor Adrain Leon Petetant for his exceptional service to our parish and his legacy that lives on in the hearts of his wife, children, parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and all who were blessed to know him.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, WE THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, duly assembled on this 10th day of August 2026, do hereby express our sincere sympathy to the family of

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a page in the Official Minute Book of the St. Charles Parish Council be set aside to record this Memoriam and when this Meeting is adjourned, it shall be done in memory of ADRAIN LEON PETETANT.
