Title
An ordinance of the Parish of St. Charles providing that the Code of Ordinances, Parish of St. Charles be amended by revising Chapter 2 of said Code to require the Department of Finance to submit to the Parish Council quarterly a "Budget Versus Actual Revenue and Expenditure" Report.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parish Council annually adopts a Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget; and,
WHEREAS, presently there is no mechanism in place to track actual revenue and expenditures as compared to budgeted revenue and expense; and,
WHEREAS, in order for the Parish Council to monitor the budget, it is necessary to have the Administration generate a quarterly report.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Code of Ordinances, Parish of St. Charles be amended by revising Chapter 2 of said Code to require the Department of Finance to submit to the Parish Council quarterly a "Budget Versus Actual Revenue and Expenditure" Report.

And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2000, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
