Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Agreement with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), for Parish Project No. P190201 Lakewood Drive Reconstruction State Project No. H.014051, Federal Aid Project No. H014051.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish has determined that Lakewood Drive in Luling requires reconstruction from East Heather Drive to Highway 90; and,
WHEREAS, the cost of said project is beyond the funds available to the Parish and as such the Parish has obtained funding from the Transportation Improvements Program (TIP) (in a 20% Parish, 80% TIP contribution); administered through DOTD; and,
WHEREAS, in order to secure the funding and move the project forward, an Entity/State Agreement is required and is attached to this ordinance.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the agreement with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for the construction of project P190201 Lakewood Drive Reconstruction (State Project No. H.014051, Federal Aid Project No. H014051) is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached Entity/State Agreement documents on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
