Title

An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. One (1) - Final for Parish Project No. P000502, Ormond Trace Stabilization, to balance contractual quantities with actual job quantities.

Body

WHEREAS,      Ordinance No. 03-1-3, adopted January 6, 2003 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. P000502, Ormond Trace Stabilization, to Gilmore & Son Construction Corporation for the amount of $631,830.00; and,

WHEREAS,      the project was completed by Gilmore & Son Construction Corporation $41,601.59 under the original Contract Price of $631,830.00; and,

WHEREAS,      the project was completed by Gilmore & Son Construction Corporation forty-seven (47) days ahead of the original completion date of September 13, 2003; and,

WHEREAS,      Change Order No. One (1) - Final is necessary to close out the construction contract with Gilmore & Son Construction Corporation for Parish Project No. P000502, Ormond Trace Stabilization.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.      That Change Order No. One (1) - Final to the contract for Parish Project No. 000502, Ormond Trace Stabilization, to offer a contract amount credit of $41,601.59 and a contract time credit of forty-seven (47) days to St. Charles Parish is hereby approved.

SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
