Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Amendment No. 2 to Ordinance 22-3-7, which approved the Professional Services Agreement with Crescent Engineering & Mapping, LLC, for the King and Hahn Street Drainage Improvements (Project No. P220202), in the amount not to exceed of $52,767.00.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 22-3-7 adopted on March 7, 2022, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with Crescent Engineering & Mapping, LLC, to perform engineering services for the King and Hahn Street Drainage Improvements (Project No. P220202), in the amount not to exceed $432,650.00; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 23-11-6 adopted on November 6, 2023, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of Amendment No. 1 to Ordinance No. 22-3-7, which approved the Professional Services Agreement with Crescent Engineering & Mapping, LLC, for the King and Hahn Street Drainage Improvements (Project No. P220202), in the amount not to exceed $149,707.00, for a new contract amount of $582,357.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Office of Coastal Management is requiring a Phase I Cultural Resources Survey for the construction area of the project. This will require an amendment to the Professional Services Agreement to increase the fees by $52,767.00, which increases the not to exceed contract amount to $635,124.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Crescent Engineering & Mapping, LLC, for the King and Hahn Street Drainage Improvements (Project No. P220202), to increase the contract amount by $52,767.00, which increases the overall contract value to $635,124.00, is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
