Title
A resolution providing mandatory support for a Special Permit to allow Paradis Investments, LLC to develop a truck stop with video poker on the East Tract of Matthews/Oliviera Lands and a 1.41 acre parcel abutting to the north in Boutte, Louisiana as shown on a plan by Michael D. Bernard dated July 12, 2004 and revised November 13, 2004.
Body
WHEREAS, The St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance requires both Planning Commission approval and a supporting resolution of the Parish Council for a Special Permit to develop a truck stop with video poker in an M-1 zoning district; and,
WHEREAS, Paradis Investments, LLC has requested special permission to develop such a truck stop with video poker on 10.02 acres of land; and,
WHEREAS, At its meeting of August 4, 2005, The Planning Commission approved the request, PZSPU 2005-07, on the condition that the site is properly rezoned by the Parish Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, does hereby provide a supporting resolution for Paradis Investments, LLC to develop a truck stop with video poker on 10.02 acres of property zoned M-1 fronting on US Highway 90 between Mosella and Paradis, LA as outlined in PZSPU 2005-07.
