Title

A resolution providing mandatory supporting authorization to endorse the resubdivision of Lot 3-A-2 of Lot 149 of Coteau de France or Ranson Tract into lots herein designated as Lot 3-A-2A and Lot 3-A-2B with a waiver to the required minimum lot frontage of the public street and a waiver to the required minimum lot size of both lots as requested by Donnie & Carol White.

Body

WHEREAS,                     the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981 (as amended) requires a supporting resolution of the Parish Council to waive the required minimum lot frontage on a public street and to waive the required minimum lot size of both lots; and,

WHEREAS,                     the proposed two lots, (Lot 3-A-2A and 3-A-2B) are below the required 5,000 sq. ft. lot area - 1,987 sf. ft. and 4,328 sq. ft., respectively; and,

WHEREAS,                     Both proposed Lot 3-A-2A and 3-A-2B front on Dugas Ln, a private street; therefore, a waiver to the public street frontage requirement is needed for both lots; and,

WHEREAS,                     the existing configuration has two legal nonconforming residential structures on Lot 3-A-2; and,

WHEREAS,                      the proposed resubdivision would place each structure on its own individual lot of record.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, does hereby provide this supporting resolution for Resubdivision of Lot 3-A-2 of Lot 149 of Coteau De France or Ranson Tract into Lot 3-A-2A and Lot 3-A-2B and to waive the minimum lot area and the required frontage on a public street for both lots as requested by Donnie & Carol White.
