Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. Three (3) for the St. Charles Parish Wastewater Regionalization Program - Destrehan Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Contract to decrease the contract amount by $111,308.77.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Ordinance No. 97-10-5 adopted October 6, 1997, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Roxco, Ltd. for the construction of the St. Charles Parish Wastewater Regionalization Program - Destrehan Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Project in the amount of $16,986,881.00; and,
SECTION II. That Ordinance No. 97-11-7 adopted November 17, 1997, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of Change Order No. One (1) for the St. Charles Parish Wastewater Regionalization Program - Destrehan Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Project to decrease the contract amount by $679,981.00; and,
SECTION III. That Ordinance No. 99-6-17 adopted June 21, 1999, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of Change Order No. Two (2) for the St. Charles Parish Wastewater Regionalization Program - Destrehan Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Project to increase the contract time by 28 calendar days; and,
SECTION IV. That it is necessary to decrease the contract amount by $111,308.77.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. Three (3) to the contract for the St. Charles Parish Wastewater Regionalization Program - Destrehan Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Project, to decrease the contract amount by $111,308.77; and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute this Change Order to the contract.
