Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract to Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. for property surveying services associated with Parish Project No. S050203, Acorn Street and Sharon Street Sewer Improvements in the amount of $29,955.00.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish was awarded a Community Development Block Grant in the amount of $532,428.00 for construction and surveying services associated with Parish Project No. S050203 Sharon St. and Acorn St. Sewer Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, request for proposals for property surveying services were advertised in accordance with applicable guidelines; and,
WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received by St. Charles Parish on November 28, 2006; and,
WHEREAS, during a three-panel review, it was determined that the contract for property surveying services should be awarded to Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the proposal from Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc. for property surveying services associated with Parish Project No. S050203, be hereby accepted, in the amount of $29,955.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.
