Title
A resolution in support of the concept by the National Rehabilitation Resources Center to develop a Handicapped Accessible Recreational/Fishing Area at the Ponding Area of the Davis Pond Freshwater Diversion Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the National Rehabilitation Resources Center has proposed the idea of constructing a Handicapped Accessible Recreational/Fishing Area at the Ponding Area of the Davis Pond Freshwater Diversion Project along U. S. Highway 90; and,
WHEREAS, the Diversion Project is expected to provide excellent fishing opportunities, if adequate access facilities can be constructed; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council and the Parish President to support the concept of such a facility.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby express our support for the concept of a Handicapped Accessible Recreational/Fishing Area at the Ponding Area of the Davis Pond Freshwater Diversion Project along U. S. Highway 90.
