An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the land use zoning classification from C-3 to M-1 on Lot 43 of Almedia Plantation, 110 Almedia Plantation Dr, St. Rose, as requested by Hollis Taylor.

WHEREAS, Lot 43 of Almedia Plantation, 110 Almedia Plantation Dr, St. Rose is zoned C-3; and,
WHEREAS, the property owner has requested to rezone to M-1; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Department recommended approval of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission, at its regular meeting of January 8, 2015, recommended approval of the request and forwarded its recommendation to the St. Charles Parish Council.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Ordinance No. 81-10-6, to approve the change in land use zoning classification from C-3 to M-1 on Lot 43 of Almedia Plantation, 110 Almedia Plantation Dr, St. Rose, as requested by Hollis Taylor.
SECTION II. To authorize the Department of Planning & Zoning to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Map to reflect the reclassification from C-3 to M-1 on Lot 43 of Almedia Plantation, 110 Almedia Plantation Dr, St. Rose, as requested by Hollis Taylor.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of __________, 2015 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
