Title

A resolution to grant permission to the Red Church Knights of Columbus Council 3634 to solicit contributions on October 22^nd, 23^rd, and 24, 2004 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the following locations:  I-310 and River Road, Ormond Boulevard and River Road, Ormond Boulevard and Airline Highway, Apple Street and River Road, Apple Street and Airline Highway.

Body

WHEREAS,      Louisiana Revised Statute 32:218 B provides for the solicitation of contributions by non-profit organizations on a public roadway; and,

WHEREAS,      the Red Church Knights of Columbus Council 3634 has requested permission to solicit contributions at several major intersections in St. Charles Parish for the purpose of contributing to the Mentally Impaired Children of St. Charles Parish.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby grant permission to the Red Church Knights of Columbus Council 3634 to solicit contributions on October 22^nd, 23^rd, and 24, 2004 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the following locations:  I-310 and River Road, Ormond Boulevard and River Road, Ormond Boulevard and Airline Highway, Apple Street and River Road, Apple Street and Airline Highway.
