Title
An ordinance to amend the 2006 Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget to provide for additional General Fund sales tax and interest revenues being collected; to provide additional funds for: Finance for MBIA - Investment Advisory Services; General Government Buildings for purchase of property for office space for Economic Development; Animal Control for an animal transport truck body; Economic Development for the Norco Food Incubator Partnership with the Norco CDC; Transfers to Wastewater for the Highway 3127 Lift Station; to adjust Road & Drainage Capital Outlays to actual projects; Recreation to purchase property for a public playground in Des Allemands; and Fund 301 - Public Improvement Sales Tax Bond Construction to adjust beginning fund balance to actual, increase interest earnings and increase capital outlay for Wastewater capital projects.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
WHEREAS, the 2006 St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget was adopted November 7, 2005 by Ordinance No. 05-11-1; amended 12/19/05 by Ordinance No. 05-12-24; 1/27/06 by Executive Order 06-1; 4/03/06 by Ordinance No. 06-4-10; 4/10/06 by Executive Order 06-2; 5/10/06 by Executive Orders 06-3, 06-4, and 06-5; 8/18/06 by Executive Order 06-6; 8/31/06 by Executive Order 06-7; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has taken under consideration the study of the amendment to the St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget for fiscal year 2006 as shown by the Revision Schedule.
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with the provisions of Article V, Sections D, E, and F of the St. Charles Parish Home Rule Charter and with the Louisiana Local Government Budget Act (R.S. 39:1301 et. seq.), the St. Charles Parish Council does hereby ordain to adopt the 2006 St. Charles Parish Consolidated Operating and Capital Budget as amended, and that it be attached hereto and made a part hereof and identified as "Exhibit A" and "Exhibit B".
