An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 2 for the St. Charles Parish Library, St. Rose Branch in the amount of $9,745.24 and an increase of thirty days.

WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 01-10-3 on October 1, 2001, approving a contract with Favalora Contractors, Inc. for the St. Rose Branch Library in the amount of $1,244,614.00; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 02-9-12 on September 23, 2002 which approved Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $14,479.72; and,
WHEREAS, various revisions have been made to the contract as outlined in Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $9,745.24 and an increase of thirty days; and,
WHEREAS, Chenevert, Songy, Rodi, Soderberg, Inc. the Project Architect, and the Library Board have reviewed the proposed change order and recommend its approval.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 2 to the contract for the St. Rose Branch Library with Favalora Contractors, Inc. is hereby approved in the amount of $9,745.24 and an increase of thirty days.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order No. 2 on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2003, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
