Title
A resolution requesting the Parish President to identify and address in writing to the St. Charles Parish Council and all Parish Departments as to what portions of Church Street in Paradis, Louisiana are public, if any, and which portions are private, if any.
Body
WHEREAS,      questions have been raised by citizens of the Parish as to the ownership of Church Street in Paradis, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS,      the question of ownership was asked to the Chief Administrative Officer on August 27, 2010, September 7, 2010, September 13, 2010, September 22, 2010, September 29, 2010, and no answer was provided; and,
WHEREAS,      the question of ownership was sent to the Parish President in a memo from the District IV Councilman dated November 14, 2010, re-sent on November 13, 2010, and re-sent again on December 6, 2010 to which no response of any type was provided; and,
WHEREAS,      the Council and other Parish Departments have the need to know the ownership status of Church Street.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby request the Parish President to identify and address in writing to the St. Charles Parish Council and all Parish Departments as to what portions of Church Street in Paradis, Louisiana are public, if any, and which portions are private, if any.
